I had a shop put in a new fuse box and do much rewiring, now my electric fan will not work. I think it was bypassed by the previous owner. I cannot find a write up on how to toggle switch it so it comes on when I want it to, or run it to the radio or iginition switch so that it comes on and goes off when the key is turned. Anyone know where this info is?

Thanks

First of all check the relay itself it will be on the driver side about dead center. If you have two there just swap the relays and see if it comes on. Next test the fan itself it you apply 12volts to it does it work ?? Lastley the temp switch in the rad might be bad test it to see. Lastly if all this is ok and you still want to bypass the computer turn on find the orange wire connected to the relay I mentioned earlier. thats the trigger wire. Run that and 12volts to a toggle and your done. This will allow the computer to still work if you forget. I'll find my original write up and post the URL :
Here it is not my write up but the same : http://www.olypen.com/craigh/auxfan.htm
