i replaced the TPS today and now when i start it up after a min or so it will rev up anywheres from 1-2K of RPM and i am not sure why
i had to zip tie the plug on to keep it on the TPS, just wanted to know if there is a right or wrong way to put a TPS on

TPS need to be adjusted here are the voltage settings for your vehicle

Approximate Voltage at Minimum Throttle Opening (idle) 0.26 V
Approximate Voltage at Maximum Throttle Opening 4.49 V
Approximate Voltage Supplied by PCM 5 V

Hope this helps

I'm not completely sure on that, but generally, the TPS signals are factored into mixture and timing as well as shift points on the transmission. You will not get full power unless it is working right.
