I found this forum while on NAXJA and researching leaf springs

My '00 XJ is white and BB 2".

-couple factory skids -steering and modified 1st gen gas
-modified class III hitch with clevis mounts welded to the ends for rear recovery
-custom rear quarter/tail light guards last summer with removable mudflaps to finish off cut and fold (rust motivated)
-home fab front winch bumper needs a bit more work to finish the middle and mount 9.5K winch
-235 Duratracs for now - +3" and 33" Duratracs by mid summer.
-will likely home fab most of the lift components as well - I'm FRUGAL.

Thanks - I'm making a 'lid' for the middle section to cover the winch and a Dring storage box with the solenoid pack under there as well - keeping the front fairly sleek for now.

Maybe cutting the rockers out this summer and welding in 2x6 box sliders.

That's a 'can't undo' mod though. :shocker:
