New CB antenna set up question

Hello xjTalk!!!

I'm looking into getting a new CB antenna and I have some questions.

I am going to buy the Firestik II FS4-R with the turn-able tip.
They say that I need to buy the 18' Fire-Flex Coaxial cable for the hook up. I found one for around $10 but it has the fire ring hook up.

-What mounts will work with that cable?
-Do I have to get the 18 foot cable? (Thats a lot of cable inside of an XJ)
-Will this cable hook right into my cobra CB?

The cable will hook into your CB. The Firering terminal is awesome, and you can use any mount with that cable, you just have to purchase a different connection from the cable to the ant. itself where it goes through the mount...

I it is recommended that you run the fire ring cable, you don't necessarily have too... I am getting ready to install a CB into my XJ shortly, and will be using a regular coax for now, but plan to get the fire ring setup as soon as I can afford it, as it is easier to protect when you are out on the trail... and because I like that design better, think it looks much cleaner..
