In the pictures you can see a rocket that had been shot at my town by HAMAS and how the anti missile rockets (Iron Dome) hit the rocket and explode it while it is still in the air.

**I'm not the photographer of the pictures, I was sitting at the shelter during that. It was taken by the mother of my son's friend who came to pick her up from our house and got stuck outside while her daughter was with us.

I sold it, believe it or not, the XJ worth here ~15K USD so leaving it in the parking with no use didn't seem to be a wise move for me.
(I needed a bigger SUV and diesel)

I'm actually looking at trading one of my trucks in for a Kia. Probably go with the Sportage or Soul. They have stupid cheap deals on them and you can push, pull, or drive in any trade for 5700. Guess we'll see if they are good. In all fairness that little Kia wants to be a Jeep almost as much as a Libby. :P

What happened to yours Steve?

The short version is that I lost my fuel injectors on a wheeling trip. Never even got there. I replaced the PCM and injectors just a week before. So, I have a mystery voltage problem. I need less than 7V and am getting full voltage to them. This is on a remanufactured PCM. So, in the reassembly I had an accidental air tool discharge that blew a little clip to escape velocity and it entered a parallel dimension I guess. Never to be seen again. But I can still hear it laughing at me. Only $62 for a new one. I went to the pick and pull and got one for free. But I still have a voltage problem. I am thinking my Painless wiring harness might not be right. So I will install a rheostat to take care of that tomorrow and start it back up. And I thought I would install some nicer seats in the mean time. Down to a true 5 gal bucket seat now.

Thankfully because of all the snow we get we also have a strong snow removal program, so most roads are clear and salted by the next day. We do have to always be wary of ice, but they do a pretty good job of keeping the roads safe. :)

Well this lady did only she needed about two feet more room. She now has a nice black crescent from my front pass side tire on the rear quarter panel of her KIA.

Oh and she ran. Chased her down, gave the police the information and waited for them to arrive. Hit and run, that's going to look good on a resume when they find her.

Got to drive Lizzie for the first time after the hemi swap. Has a busted lifter so i had to be extra careful and couldn't enjoy the sound as much as i wanted. I didnt exactly see this on my way home, but it was about an hour after i left. The peaceful protest of BLM That has been going on since last Sunday, shut down the major freeway coming out of the cities. And the nucleus of it all is at the MPLS 4th precinct about a mile from my work, and is still going on as we speak. Its getting ugly over there and apparently people were shooting and throwing molotov cocktails at the building last night. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I was at customers house today and commented that we had the same last name. This started an interesting conversation on family trees. When i saw his bantam trailer, I mentioned that I to had a bantam trailer.He then took me to his garage (yes there was a jeep in there) the really cool part was that one entire wall had pictures of wheeling trips all over California and nevada from 1966 to present. Allmost 50 years. Ask about dates of some of the trips and found out he had run the rubicon with my grandfather and henness pass with my dad. It was lots of fun and hope to go wheelimg with him some day.

I saw this guy parked at work again today. Its here every day. Super clean (especialy for being a daily driver in MN) and looks to have a 2" BB with adjustable rear shackles, on 31s.

Im waiting for the day i get here early enough and have my XJ so i can see how his sits next to a ratty old XJ with a 3.5" lift....... My guess is they are going to be ablut the same, at least until i get my bigger tires on in the spring.

It had literally just happened. I think they came from the cross street and didn't realize that the intersection wasn't straight across. I was looking at my phone since I do that at red lights only and looked up just in time to see them fall off into the ditch.

I didnt exactly see this on my way home, but it was about an hour after i left. The peaceful protest of BLM That has been going on since last Sunday, shut down the major freeway coming out of the cities. And the nucleus of it all is at the MPLS 4th precinct about a mile from my work, and is still going on as we speak. Its getting ugly over there and apparently people were shooting and throwing molotov cocktails at the building last night. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Well the verdict for the police vs the armed criminal that they shot is going to be announced at 10:30am CST today........ From the sounds of it and the warnings on the news from the people of "Black Lives Matter" and from the police chief, its not going to be pretty, and something similar to the above will happen again. :bang:

Welp, neither officer is being charged in the shooting of Jamar Clark. I have the feeling that North Minneapolis is going to be the new Ferguson by tomorrow. Protesters already have roads blocked off about a mile from my office. I guess ill be driving the Jeep tomorrow in case they decide to block the freeway again, and i need to take an "alternate route" home.

Kinda mid work (yep, we're back to working a little), thus began a fun night. Going 70-75 mph down the highway at midnight and BOOM! The left side drops and starts shaking. Thankfully it was very controlled and no one was around us. Off to the shoulder we headed and I firmly believe in getting as far over as possible. I run around and see this...

Sure I expected a flat but this thing is blown to shreds. Its only 4 months old! A Cooper by the way. The entire outside sidewall is separated from the tread. Anyways, I knew we had the stock bottle jack but it wouldn't fit between the road and the now much lower control arm. So I devised a brilliant idea to use one the timbers we carry for loads to drive up on to create more room for the jack. The wheel went right up with some smaller boards to create a mock ramp. However the center of the wheel valley made up for all the boards added height. At this point my mom was on the phone with glorious triple A. The guy they transferred her too, well lets just say I really wanted to grab the phone and give him an ear full. The guy tried to get out of coming out in just about every way in the book. She told him the spare wasn't great and he says if your spare isn't good there's no point in coming out. He said he wouldn't put a tire from the rear to the front (we wanted the spare on the rear, just in case). He said he was over an hour away, before she told him where we were and then said he didn't know where it was, even after saying he was 20 minutes away this time. And the coup de grace was him saying if he came out he would charge her "out the wazoo". I really wanted to have him come out after we left and let him search for us for a while...

After a while I figured trying to jack off the frame, but with the suspension droop I never thought it would work. But it did! Admittedly with a small board underneath. So we changed the shredded for the spare and headed down the highway. Still not wanting to run the older spare in the front and only having one jack we stopped by a 24 hour Walmart and bought a cheap floor jack. We swapped them out and good to go. Finished the trip 700 miles later. Now I just gotta hope they warranty the tire. Replacing a 4 month old tire is not how I want to spend $200 right now.
