hey all,,, time for next wee mod....have 3 things to choose from,,well 4 but that hub mod is kinda big $$$:headshake:....anyways locker,, some sliders, shes getting a bit banged up there,,or re gear....locker will be going in front,,the thurdy5 has a nice tight lsd in it:thumbsup:'',,sliders cause the sills are getting banged up a bit, this is a road worthy problem if they get to banged up:mad:re gear well don't know much about this but was talking to tony and this getting that power back plus the gas thing well kinda sounds good:thumbsup:

I don't think many people swap gears. It's something that most people can't do themselves, and therefore very expensive. I know BigJim and Rene just put their 231 into 4wd lo when off roading where as I just leave mine in full time 4wd. They don't have a bent rocker and I do. :D

Gear swap I use ALL the time the sliders I've needed once out of 3 off road trips.

Yep, id go with rene on this one. Build ya sliders, and buy a locker. I didnt vote though, cause there was no option for "Bigger front honda lights". :D

well sounds like we need pic's dimentions etc and type of pipe /box section it's made from and attachment points
not keen on the tec screw ideas
is 1" galv pipe big/strong enough,will want to use a hilift on it I'm guessing

now those are sweet, complete with door guards. let me know if you don't get dimensions and I'll measure for you Wayne. heck I'll even draw a set of scaled plans for you and mail em to you if you like. Just let me know, may be others here that have those done already.

Voted sliders...I wish I did them before I got my lockers...would have less stuff to repair if I had them before. :D

50 x 50 x 3 box oops ment 2" x2"x 1/4" with 50 mm(2") sched 40 pipe on the out side or exhaust tube 1.5mm wall thickness for out side
want me to price wayne????? will be 6 mtr lenghts can take leftover off you hand if you want :rolleye0012:or save for exo cage :driving:

Yeah, I like the tube sliders as well. I've ripped my bushwacker flares off a couple of times (orig. style bolts). I've replace with the new style bolts, we'll see how long they last. :D I've been really impressed with the durability of them though. When I've ripped them off, its been a good it.

Not a problem. yea if I was to put some Bushwackers on there mite be a problem

You also get a good shot of the long arms. Now all I have to do is a little more triming and bump stop it

The rear Lock Rite for the rear just showed up now I will be locked front and rear. As far as the long arms go the ride is much smother

Altho I'm I'm a service manager with a large industrial engine company ( 900hp-10,000hp) I'm not too good with auto's) I did a rear end about 35 years ago and it did not make it out the drive way. So I will just have to tell how it works.

are they bolted thru the seams as well as at the front and rear?

wayne exhaust tube bout $17 per mtr
want to do front guard protection at the same time

a plan is hatching in my head or the sawdust is rotting :o
