I can't imagine that a belt would squeak unless you were putting it on defrost. It can use the A/C to help dry the air, hmm is it called defrost.

Other squeaks could be the blower motor bearing.

Check your AC compressor when you turn it on. If it comes on and you get the squeak, then what you need to do is tighten the belt.

yea I do use the defrost on my jeep and thats when it squeaks....I believe its the ac compressor but the ac works....could it be the bearings in the ac compressor itself????

Try tighten up the belt first and try it out.... and Also its the grade of the belt too I bought a cheap belt and no matter how tight I got it, it squeaks, So I went out and bought the best belt made, cost a few dollars more and BAM Problem fixed!!

That could be the fan bearings instead of the compressor clutch or bearings.
