Got this vavle cover before I got The Nasty. But now that it is warming up, I will be putting this thing in tomorrow. I will post pics in the build thread.

Hey Tony, you need one of these. It is your color.

It will dress up the Nasty for sure.

Hey folks while trying to install these into the new valve cover I broke them. They were not broken to bad, but will need to be replaced. I need to know what they are and what they do. Are there after market parts I can get that will look better, or do I need to replace them with factory parts?http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac335/Switch_Knuckles/002valvecoverparts.jpg

Yes, you will need to replace them. I guess you call them valve cover breather fittings. You need a little vacuum on the crank case so it won't spit oil out the dip stick.

Valve cover vents and they are very proud of them at the stealership.

I tried getting them out, that is what broke them in the first place. I was thinking about going to home depot and getting 2 rubber grommets and a few fittings from auto parts store. Is there a trick to getting them out that I am not seeing?

I busted mine trying to get them out....The engine environment is rude to nice soft rubbery things...Have had no luck finding them...so to the dealer in the spring I go...

I actually went to O'reily and got a few PVC grommets. Seems to work just fine so far.
