After spending a hour at Discount Tire I gave up my search for a set of BFG KM/2 there on national back order 3-4 months. And the other Discount stores that have some don't want to give them up. So what is a similar tire?

Which pro-comps? The X-Terrain wear super fast. Saw a couple sets of Goodyear Dura-Tracs this weekend that looked really good. Decent price too.

For the KM/2 MT ?
ok I'm assuming 33x12.50 15 in the mud terrian you would be looking at $230.49 per tire and $40.00 total in frt to your door Hope this helps

Pro Comp is Pro Crap. You couldn't get me to run a free set again in my life.
Seriously, they suck.
I am beyond impressed with the GY Duratracs. Half of our club is running them now and nothing has stopped them.
When my MTR's W/Kevlar are done I am making the move to Duratracs.
Around $700 shipped through 4WP, also GY has a $40 MIR on them right now.
My 2 cents.

I have 31" duratracks on my xj...love em so far. I'd suggest pro comp tires or the duratracs...btw, pro comp tires are cooper tires...it is our private label tire.
btw, I work at 4wp in plano, tx if you need anything.

WOO HOO a friend of mine hooked me up with a friend of his that works at a diffrent Discount tire store. He called the stores that had only 1 of the 32x11.5 Km/2 in stock and got me a set. There coming in from all over the country will be here next week. :D:D:D

Will do. I've heard nothing but good things with that tire. I think Tony runs them.

I just got a set for my jeep and put them on last friday. So far there pretty good. Go through the snow good, mud pretty good. Once it gets a little nicer out and I get the jeep tuned up I'll have to give them a good test run....:driving:

I have the original KMs I've been happy with mine, in fact I'd rather have another set of KM over the KM2. I like the MT tread pattern better on the KMs.

the 32's might have been more difficult to locate... did you try 33's?
I just found that the tires I wanted for my 17s ... dont come in a 37 inch for 17 wheels... back to the drawing board, or wallet I guess!

No one wants to give up the 33's. 2 of them came in today and they look sweet.

Please let me know how you like them, I'll be getting the 33x12.5x15 version of them pretty soon. God I hate that the KM MT aren't being made any longer.

Quieter = less aggressive off road. :( They are making us go to AT's I tell you! Soon it will say MT but it will be identical to ATs

One thing about them I can tell you for sure Tony is that the side walls flex more. I saw a set next to mine, same size and tire pressure and they had a little more squish to them. I am assuming this will translate into a nicer ride on and off road. But from what I have been able to gather so far is that you have to put some more horsepower to them in mud to get them to clean out.
