Bigjeep. Give us a story how this happened. We could all probably learn something from this incident

Three simple things:

1. Nighttime
2. Not paying attention
3. Unfamiliar Trail

We were driving along just bullshitting about different stuff and suddenly the front passenger side tire dropped into the hole, then the rest followed.

It was just a matter of unexpectedness. We're very lucky we weren't hurt. I had my seatbelt on, luckily. Didn't and ended up in the back of the Jeep when we landed.

In the years to come, and memories become hazy, I would add a big breasted blond to the story, for #2. :D

I guess the lesson here is when in doubt PUNCH IT! You would still be stuck but at least you would have been on the tires side. :smiley-laughing021:

Thanks a lot for the pictures and the story. So sorry to see a good Jeep flip though. :patriot:

Problem is, there was no time to punch it. It happened to fast to react, we were driving along pretty much on gearing only. We were flat, then we were upside down. Lol.

It happened in Spring, and got sent to Crosby on a wrecker, so you must've seen another XJ.

Tony,

I know you were just kidding, but in a different situation, gunning it probably would have been possible.

And sorry, no parts for sale. This Jeep is EXTREMELY fixable, and will be.

Glad everyone is ok and that your going to fix it. it would be a real shame not to since the damage doesn't look so bad for a RO.

Well the joke is that if you had time enough to gun it, you'd probably have enough time to stop and back up.

I think who ever has that XJ needs to post a thank you to Rene Jim and Wes for bailing him out. They did not have to do it but that's the way those guys are.

Good news, Chris, BigJeepBigJeep, agreed to an interview. We just got done about 30 minutes ago. You'll hear first hand what happened, and as a bonus how Chris came up with the name BigJeepBigJeep on next Wednesday night's show, at 8PM Central!
