I Started getting the White Knight ready today for the lift install. I started by getting the front axle tore down and when i get it detached im going to put it on sawhorses clean, it up, paint it and change the diff fluid. Next is the t-case. Its coming out and getting split for the AA fixed yoke kit. My wheels are at a friends house going to work with him for sandblasting and a fresh coat of black. 33x12.50 x15 SS Irok tires are waiting on the wheels. Im waiting on the lift. I orded it from IRO on the 12th and no tracking number yet. I emailed them and they said they were swamped with orders. i guess that gives me time to do the little stuff right and not just throw it together. The front upper links were a bass turd because the little keepers to keep the bolt from spinning didnt work (a poor design at best). Any advice or tricks are appreciated. Oh also i drenched every bolt i could see with PB blaster for three days before i started.

<<< I need help posting pics every time i try to resize for the file size the pics are so small you cant see them. I want to show my build but i cant get pics to load HELP ME WITH THIS...>>>

What most of do is use an image hosting site like Photobucket. It is free. Once you upload your images to it, you just ckick on the image and then click on the img code. Then paste it to your post and then it will automatically load it when the post is opened.

Can't wait to see how this goes... and to see how their kits work out in the end for the user.. I wanted to purchase an IRO kit for my XJ.. granted won't be purchasing one.. but am thinking about getting one of their kits for a later Jeep build.... and/or their LA upgrade!!

Ok mudderoy sent me a video of how to post pics and in that video below the manage attachments button there was a link to add images from photobucket. This does not appear on my options section. I tried to copy and paste the img code to the URL but it says invalid. Im going to paste the link here and see if it works.. Dang I can dissasemble a jeep in a day but cant get a picture to show on a website...

Yeah sorry about that, photobucket made a change and the software we installed stopped working. You have to do it the hard way now.

Well i finished my SYE today and i figured you guys might want the info. First to start with its an NP231 and i used Advanced Adapters fixed yoke kit with new shaft and tailhousing. The previous owner DID NOT believe in a pressure washer apparently and its only 20 degrees here so sorry for the greasy messy pics.

I had some trouble getting the bolts loose at first so i put a jack under the tranny pan and removed the crossmember and rubber mount.

After the mount is removed you can reach the bottom bolt.

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z442/mattrohrbaugh/DSC00411.jpg

The shift linkage bracket is held on by two of the bolts and also a bolt on the side. they are hard to get to that is where the jack comes in, Lower the engine and tranny down to access the remaining bolts.

Now the part i forgot... The vent hose and two electrical connectors need to be removed before you drop the t-case. I had the case on my chest before i figured this out and it wasnt fun. Its not heavy so just drop it and slide out from under the jeep. This is what it looks like out so you can see the bolts you need to look for.

Then you just follow the directions provided with the kit and its done. Its really not that hard but get a pair of flat circlip pliers. They dont have holes like snap rings so you need the flat style.

Then it will look like this.

You also need rtv silicon and a good clean workspace. I used a deadblow hammer to break apart the case and other stuff.

Now as soon as the lift gets here i can start on it. I cant wait till it gets here.

Suppose everyone is burning up their tax money that's why they are swamped with orders.

Sorry i havent updated this thread ive been working alot lately. I did get the White Knight finished and it turned out great. I have taken it wheeling several times and EVERYONE thought it performed great. I love the IRO kit and it was very easy to install. I highly recomend it to anyone who wants a great lift with awesome flex. Unfortunately i have not been able to take any good pics of me wheeling it and i have to go away for 6 weeks for work, so i will mis a lot of good trips with my friends. When i get home i will definately take some pics to show you guys how well it does. I do have a minor heating issue but i think a rad flush, new thermostat and elec fans. will take care of it. But until then i can dream of the trails.
