OK we have most likely ALLL had somebody at one time or another tell us something awesome or ask us something,
This thread is to share what comments somebody as told you about your jeep weather it be just TODAY or something you will remember forever.
ALSO feel free to add some stuff folks have said to you that just sounds DUMB

Ill start, few weeks ago I was picking up some donuts for breakfast for the family and as I was walking out a guy passed me and said "man I like that thing, tell me, is there anything you CANT do in that"? I said Yes, I cant pass a gas station without stopping in, He lol'd
and for the OTHER side, I get this ALLLLLL the time I guess cause Im down here in houston but everytime some weird yokel looks at my jeep its like a damn recording... " You go mudding in that thing?" IGH I hate it typical stereo type jacked up track Gotta be a mudder!

So come on everyone have fun!

I have not paid off the jeep yet. But I have already removed the flares, bumper caps, lifted it a little in the back, moved the sound bar and a few other things. When I went to the dealer the other day... Sure glad you only have a few payments left, cause we cant take that thing back now. Nobody would buy it.

since I used to only have a bike. every day but more so when the weather is bad I still get "Did you ride today?" I answer nope, I have a jeep. I also get (usually at a store) "you going to paint that thing?"
I have one friend at work that everytime I see him he says "Lift It". nothing else.

The two best things I've been told was:

1. "That things a beast." From a gas station attendant, I'm not sure if it was intended as a compliment but I liked it.

2. A guy in a stock red XJ parked nest to me one day and said "That's what I want mine to look like, but with a winch."

This just happened to me today, best compliment I've had so far. I got a call from the old boy that works the farm just down from my house. He wanted to know if I could bring my "big jeep" out and pull his tractor and truck out of the mud. Apparently his farm tractor had sank in all the mud from all the melting snow and his truck (Dodge ram) was up to it's axles. Old Dudley was up to the challenge and pulled them both out. Anyone know where I can get a John Deer recovery team sticker? :smiley-laughing021:

True, it is the blue oval brand. I can attest to how well they breakdown at just the wrong time.

Blue Oval would be Ford so I think he's commenting on the F350 that was posted earlier in this thread.

Best compliment I ever had was a couple of young men (6 or 7yrs old ) asked if thier mom could take a pic of them by my Jeep.

Yeah I've had several small children breaking their necks looking at my Jeep, I even heard one telling his Dad he wanted him to have one like mine. I've often thought of offering to let them sit in my Jeep (I remember strangers doing things like that for me when I was very young) but with all the pedophiles and weirdos running around today I just leave it alone. Sad really I know things like that really meant a lot to me as a child.

"Your 2 door is sexy!"

When my buddy was back from deployment the first thing he said was that he felt like he was back in the desert in a humvee whenever he rides in the xj.
