Did you mess with the regulator any, don't see why it would mess up now.

well, the o ring for the regulator started leaking so i put a new one on and where that metal line that runs into the regulator it has o rings in there and they fell out so i put them back in, there were 3, but i doubt that has anythin to do with it. and whatever that little plastic piece was on the end of the pressure regulator/metal hose thing broke in half when i pulled it out. did that plastic piece do anythin?

Well I guess re-useing the old o-rings on the fuel pressure reg, could have caused some problems, also I think the plastic clip is what holds the fuel line in the regulator.

Never reuse O rings Always use new ones. Reusing them will cause them to leak

I would put the original injectors back in and see if the problem goes away. I suspect you do not have the right injectors for your engine.

well i made sure i got the neons with the correct part number 0280155703. that is what is stamped on the injector, a guy had them on his 98 cherokee i bought from him, he was parting it out. This sheet tells me i have the correct injector, i believe i messed my regulator up, its dumping wayy too much gas in the motor, im going to get a new regulator. if that fails then i'll put the old injectors back in. I've got 2 jeeps so this one can sit for a few days :D

Did you replace the fuel rail mentioned on the sheet?

i did option one not option 2. on option one you dont have to replace the rail. option 2 you have to replace the rail for the ford injectors. i went the easy route.
