Now the guy pretty much wasted that XJ....

I could not stop laughing watching the guy in the background....
(after the jeep is tipped, and the guy call for help, the friends on the back ground starts removing his shoes before jumping to help.... watch him all the way through..... thi sis hillarious)

As soon as he dropped in the engine took a big gulp of water and died I'm sure. Wow thats all I can say, thought's kids could have drown too. :boohoo:

It feels good to know that Russia has dumb rednecks too. Not only did they escape death from drowning, they also got very luck that the rope didn't snap or that they didn't roll the XJ back over on the 4 dumba$$e$ standing under it.

they lucked out, that cable didn't snap. it would have turned one ivan into 2 ivans.
we sure do have some dumb people back at home.
side-note, that other 4 door rig is russian UAZ. they're pretty bada$$. when i was young, one of my grandpa's friends had one with a volga v8.
that first rig looked pretty nice too.

side-note, that other 4 door rig is russian UAZ.
I actually drove one of those in Iraq. Not sure of engine size but it was a diesel. Nothing fancy about it, but damn near unstoppable.

diesel huh? never seen one in diesel... the one my grandpa's friend had was built though. one time they hooked up 2 Nivas against his uaz469 and it didn't even hesitate. yanked those nivas right off.
a stock uaz469s will blow a stock pathfinder out of the water. not on speed and horsepower though.

IMO you can forget about the idea.... I don;t know about the UAZ, but the lada's are not allowed on the USA ground unless they are older than 25 years.
and that is pretty sad ;)

that's the monster i'm talking about.
about 10 years ago a guy back in Russia ran one of those through a swamp just to see when it was gonna get stuck, and he actually couldn't get it stuck... even when he was trying to gas it and dig down, the mighty y60 was coming right out.

we got heaps of these pos down here ,, whales is what we call them ,,, heavy as ...strong running gear but ,,,4.2 diesel ,,some come factory turbo ..
love to sink in the mud ,,, come out with a high roof model as well plus a two door job ,,,, that red xj getting built down here will be running the same diffs ,,,,,,,,,trade mens truck ,,, more pull than a school boy :smiley-laughing021:
