I kinda like the look of this muffler, but I am not sure which one will fit under The Nasty. Anyone know?

Are you only wanting to replace the muffler, no piping?? Or are you just planning on staying with the 2.25 piping??

So why not look into a setup like these:

IRO (http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=IROR&Product_Code=IR-X_IEK&Category_Code=PFX)

Rusty's (http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=rustys&Product_Code=RP-EXS1-XJ&Category_Code=PER_EXH) * Which is the one I have on my XJ, with the FM 40 series, which you can see the pics of, and the video of it on my build thread*

Not a bad set up at all. I was just lookin at the muffler cause it ties in with my black diamond plate theme I am goin with.

oh ok... I got ya.. I thought about one of those mufflers when I did mine... but figured it was going to get beat to hell and be covered with mud and crap anyways... so wouldn't matter too much... plus no one will hopefully ever see the bottom of my Jeep... at least not without being under it working on it... LOL..

Ask Jim for a sound clip of his exhaust... it isn't straight piped... but fairly close to it... just to get an idea what it will sound like anyways... I sometimes wish I could run a similar setup to what he has... but would def. not pass inspection like that... man I hate inspection states....

Hey bigjim350, about the exhaust on your XJ? How do I get to your build picks so I can hear how load it is? I am not in an inspection state but we do have noise ordinances.

You can hear it best on this old vid that Tony took at creekside.

Hey thanks Jim, sounds great. Not sure i could get away with that on my daily driver. Maybe when i get a back up just for wheeling. :)
