Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum but not to XJ's! I have my third now which is a 98 2dr.

So let me run this by you... About a year and half ago, I had a jeep specialist pull my rear driveshaft, clean it and spray some graphite on it because I was getting a clunk when accelerating or coming to a stop. He told me it would eventually happen again and I'd have to replace it, So of course it is now and he's no longer there. I was thinking about ordering a replacement online, Any suggestions for websites?

Welcome to the site :thumbsup: As for your rear driveshaft, it sounds like you just need some new u-joints. They are only like $10 a piece, and very easy to install. To see if ya need em, climb under the Jeep and see if you can move the driveshaft up and down any at all.
