I lost count after 20 or something. I cannot believe how many there are around my small little town. It is a major college town, so that might explain why I see so many?

Now: I only pay attention to the solid "one color" ones or ones that have been modified for off road use.

I love the blacked out or white out look on the XJ's.

I also can't believe that so many people are "ok" with driving them in stock form. I need to hire someone to inform those stock XJ driving people that there are options to fixing them up. :rotfl2:

There are a lot of XJ's here in West Houston. Problem is, most are two wheel drive. The few four wheel drive ones look as if the transfer case lever has never been pulled. Well, except for Scott's.

In Little Rock there are around 90 jeep XJ's some built and some not. In North Little Rock there are around 95 XJ's again some built and some not. tallest lift I've seen on the roads is 8" with 35's. Lots of them are stock and probably most are 4X4 configuration. I asked a dealer here and he said he didn't sell but maybe 25 2 wheel drive XJ's total. Even the rental dealers I've asked said that when they used the XJ and ZJ, they only bought 4X4 models.

I checked the U pull it's (we have two) and there are a total of 20 XJ's in the two yards right now. We have a lot of the newer jeeps running around here too. I like the look of the XJ best of them all, old and new.

The XJ is really common in my area. You can go down any city stree, ride through any neighborhood, cruise through any parking lot and count more than you can on fingers and toes.

But we don't have them in any Junk Yards.

I've seen 2 real Xj's in my area, 1 is lifted with 3 1/2 bushwakers and a roof rack, the other is lifted with a long arm kit. Both are respectable looking rigs.

Wooohooo post #200!

There are TONS of them around here... There are lots of 4x4 clubs up here, The most popular one in the Salem area is probably the Mid-Valley Crawlers (http://www.midvalleycrawlers.com/). NAXJA has a NW chapter up here, they meet at Sand Lake, Brown's Camp, and other wheelin spots around OR/WA on a regular basis too. Definitely no shortage of them up here. Unless you're trying to find some xj parts on Craigslist lol, then the damn things are non-existent.

I see XJs everywhere, but like XJ rat said, most are 2wd and none of them look like they have anything more than a bumper sticker added to them.
