hey yall have a question for ya. I bought a brushguard off craigs list last night and went to install it today. Well it seems that its almost 2 inchs wider then the frame of my XJ. Does anyone have one on thier jeep and if so is there any type of bracket from the guard to the frame I didnt get? All I got with guard was 4 bolts.HELP!!!!!!!

You know what I just thought about...... you might need the tow hook brackets.

Yep looking at the mounts on that guard, it looks like you would unbolt the tow hooks, and bolt the guard onto those mounts

Or if you don't have tow hooks you will have to buy the mounts for them..

I had one of those on my XJ when I bought it. Who ever put it on, just welded some flat strap to the frame and then to the brush guard.

Guy that I bought Brush Guard from just emailed me back. So maybe I'll get the brackets from him if he is not going to use them and that will end my lil headache lol.
