Xtreme4x4 - Cheap XJ

Xtreme4x4 starting with the 1/22 show has started a new segment. It was only 5 or 10 minutes but they brought a Jeep XJ "white" in and started modifying it for wheeling. Basically they built a front trailer hitch "receiver" and snapped in a winch.

Yeah I'm not complaining, but I thought it was a little strange since Trucks! did the same thing, their series was call "Cheep Jeep" 5 parter I believe.

I agree 3k on a Jeep isn't that cheap in my book. They didn't even include the sliders and bumpers they built. Then the last episode they had purchased a new intake, header, and TB. I am sure those were a pretty penny.

How to get your own "Cheep Jeep" I'm pretty sure this would work.

First you get your own TV show about Wheeling. Then you contact all the manufacturers of the parts you want and tell them "When you give me these parts, you will get lots of publicity on my show as I install your parts on the jeep we will be building on the show. If you throw in 30 thousand dollars per episode, you will even get a commercial spot of 15 seconds."

I got ya beat... I got 2 XJs for nutin.... put about 1000.00 in the 1991 and nutin in the 1996 runs great.. :thumbsup::driving:
