Hi XJ Talkers,
I have a 98 2 door Sport,4.0 Auto, in white. About 178K and its been cared for pretty well by the previous owner, who I know well. I do as much work as I can on it, I'm fairly well tooled up and been blessed with the mechanic gene.
I'm also the go to guy for my sons 95 4 door 4.0 XJ, 5 speed. He has been blessed with other skills then mechanical, but he learns fast so I don't mind showing him how the tools are used. I used to have to actually stick the tool/wrench/socket in his hand and point at the fastener, now he can find the proper wrench/socket etc on his own.

Recently changed his radiator, did my clock-spring last week, along with rear hatch struts, so now my head doesn't take such a beating.

Rear leafs this spring. Serious sagging on my 98.

I'll get my XJ profile squared away asap.

:welcome: to the both of you. Another two door:woot:

I am doing the Jeep thing with my son too. Besides it is fun spending his money instead of mine.

So basically, I am always looking for tips and support on how to repair and maintain my Jeep.
I did the front axles,(one side needs a new rubber boot already), I did bearings and seals on the 8.25 rear axles, and sealed up the diff cover very nicely.
I'm probably going to shoot for a 2" lift. I tote some music gear around and the weight really affects the ride at this point. I must be careful of dips/bumps.
Also, the drive shaft should get some universal joints before they go bad on me.

Thats it for now. Thanks for saying HI!!
