Thanks guys for checking this out...
I've read other threads from other jeep sites and they had it where you had to remove the pass. motor mount, Well you dont have too.. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to do including the oil change.. I'm glad I could help make this easy...

I will be checking tomorrow, but I am sure this is one of my many oil leaks. Once it warms up a little, I plan on spending a lot more time under The nasty. There are so many leaks under there.

It's the most common leak that XJ's has...
Also as well as the oil pan...
I have a very slight leak on the pan but nutin to worry about now, will be doing sumin abut it when I have the time to figure it out how to do it without pullint the motor..

Thanks for the video I just replaced my Oil Pan gasket, rear main seal, and valve cover gasket. still have a leak and its from the oil filter adapter, and your video is going to make it much easier especially with the torx socket size.

it's the torque style got a t60 and knocked the torx out of the fixed socket it came in and put a boxed wrench around it with a breaker bar. thought I was making progress but was only bending my box wrench

Bending the box wrench? damn it shouldnt be that tight... did you try using what I had a rachet box wrench with a breaker bar? but Spray PD Blaster on it b4 you do anything
Also try to make sure you turning it the right way....

lol i've actually been known to tighten instead of loosen lol, but yes I am going the right way to my surprise. Yeah I didn't think it should be that tight because from specs its only supposed to be 75 foot pounds of torque and i'm putting in a whole lot more torque then that. I'll have to go pick a rachet box wrench up tomorrow. Can you get them separately or do you have to buy a set of them?
