Thanks for the quick welcome rguignard. I found this forum by goggling "Cherokee forums" and Im from Richmond, VA. I do not actually have a cherokee yet. But i have the opportunity to snag one for pretty cheep. The problem is its 2wd and I want a 4wd. So i was wondering if there any differences between the two that would keep me from converting it to a 4wd? i dont know the exact year yet, but its a mid- late 80's 2 door with the vent widows in the back. if that helps? i did a quick search and didn't really find anything

Welcome to xjtalk!! As far as converting your 2wd to a 4wd, it is very possible... and actually pretty easy to do.

What good would that attitude do?? I hate when people do that... I mean I do always try to use it first... but if I don't find any helpful information, than I will ask.... I just hope those links will help you some... or at least get you started..
