View Full Version : Installing New Leaf Springs with a twist.

Ok gang yall know I have been griping about my Leaf Springs so today me and my dad took care of that BIG problem. We were going to swap out set for set but the shackle bolts werent havin it,so we made a lil ole bastard pak. We kept top spring on Jeep and added the other four from new springs I had bought.It definitely brought the monster up alot almost 1 1/2 over front end. And just to please the eyes of the wondering here's pics :camera:

Was a fun lil adventure and then to top it off my right rear wheel cylinder started leakin so now thats the next thing to do :shocker::sad0147:

That is a matter of the links themselves. It is better to use an image hosting service like Photobucket. Then the images will automatically load.

go to junkyard and get 4 more of those rubber things on top of the coils they are called coil isolaters and stack two on each side the each give you about 3/4 lift so two together should give you 1.5 inch, thats the most common way to compensate when people put a big front bumper on or a winch
