Hey gang let me ask a question. There is a bracket right before the Cat and mine has rusted apart. I am wondering can a universal mount work there?

It could, but you would be better off with the factory type. It keeps the header pipe from flexing and is better at keeping the pipe from hitting the cross member. Not much room there.

So I would be better off takin it to a shop then to get it fixed?

I would just get one from a pick and pull. Much cheaper and better than what the exhaust shop would do unless they bought you a new OEM bracket.

That one needs a piece of soft rubber for that hook to go into. Your best bet there would be this one.

But you would have to secure it very well to the floor pan. And I am not sure you have enough clearance to make this work.

Order from the dealership and do it your self, they will rob you if you stumble in asking them to fix that....
