Hi! This is my first post here :D
I live in Florida and I will be traveling to Panama in December, where I have my Cherokee 1986, so I am buying some parts I can't find there. I do not have the car here with me to check details, that is why I have some questions for you guys

1. The turn signal lights switch does not return to the off position automatically after I finish the turn around a corner. That happens when I turn to one side (left or right, I don't remember), it stays there, I need to put it back to the off position manually.
That does not happen to the other side where, after turning, it goes back automatically.
What do you think I need to change? Something else or just the turn signal switch (http://www.familycar.com/store/item/Jeep_Cherokee_AC-Delco_Turn-Signal-Switch_1986_1986_ACD6262D.html)?

2. I want to buy waterproof speakers, like those ones you use on boats, so if the car get flooded they are supposed to be ok, but I do not remember the sizes and if they are rounded or in rectangles (I have been here for 2 years :( ) I guess the one on the front doors are rectangles... somebody?

3. I can't find a shift knob :stars:. My cousin there bought one of those standard knobs and it lasted just for a couple of months. I need to find one that really fits and it is going to work as expected. What do you guys recommend? Better if it looks cool  instead of the factory one

4. The windows are manual, I just bought new handles, but I am thinking to change them to electric. I saw in ebay the controls and sometimes I can see there the other parts. Did somebody change manual windows to electric? Did it work ok?

By the way, this car is HYBRID! Yes, it has a propane tank and a switch to change from propane to gasoline :rotfl2:

Thank you guys for your help.

Is your steering wheel centered? My turn signals would not turn off automatically when I had the steering wheel 90 degrees off of center.

As for the speakers in the jeep I am PRETTY sure that the speakers did not change through the years so the fronts are 5.25, yes the door grill is rectangular but inside they are circular as for the rear speakers those are a 5x7 but the opening can be easily modified to fit 6x9 which offers a little more bass response and MUCH easier to find and in some cases cheaper. As for the marine audio from boats I know that jensen makes some that sound better than factory speakers so you might wanna try ebay for those
here is a link http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=marine+speakers&_sacat=See-All-Categories
I hope this all helps you out
Shift knobs... if its a stick shift then you can go to almost ANY parts store and locate a quality shift knob, if its an automatic shifter ... best hit a salvage yard those are EVERYWHERE. for the turning not canceling yes Mudderoy has about the only easy solution, sometimes your steering wheel is out of alignement... meaning your wheels still steer straight but your steering wheel is not centered... the adjustment for that is located on a sleeve that connects two pieces of your drag link up next to your pitman arm... here is a pic for reference
http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Knowledgebase/Image/tjsteering(1).jpg
locate in the picture the pitman arm highlighted in green then attched to that you wil see a long shaft called a drag link on that link you will see a little sleeve that has two bolts on it, to fix your steering wheel centering just loosen the two bolts and then rotate that sleeve in one directionto get it to go to the right and the other direction to get the steering wheel to go the other direction when your done be sure to tighten those bolts back REALLY tight as this is where a lot of folks end of getting what is know as death wobble, I hope this all helps if you have ANY questions please feel free to ask!
