the black 32 roadster was a customers car. Its been completed and is out of the shop. The 51 mercury(just barely see the grille and headlight in the first axle pic) has been my dads project for 20 years. It has a full tube chassis and four link rear with a 392 hemi. The yellow jeep is my dads(the flat fender) and it now has a 505hp 383 in it with 35in BFG Bajas and the CJ is my brothers, extended 10 inchs and full tube chassis with a 351 in it. I come from a all jeep and hot rod family lol

WOW nice work at such a young age... Im wanting to do an EXO cage really soon and Ive started collecting DOM but I wanna know what size is the smallest but yet still functional in a rollover... I saw this XJ and his DOM looked WAY to small http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRwmQjmyjaZiyc85WSrc4r0vJn0DgaNj oT6tyAvBj9Uo-jbBNk&t=1&usg=__oTL9O8uYYzUkbnIu-cmEg6pXfrg=
maybe it just isnt enough tubing... like the lower front fender support tube and a rocker protection... few others but I wanna protect MINE for real and not just have a cage sittin there

I'd use 1.75 or at a minimum 1.5. It can be mild too if its designed right and is for high speed use but I'd recommend not going smaller then 1.75 if you use mild.
