Dig the XJ! And a homemade lift makes it that much cooler! Now what's your home Made lift consist of?

i found this site on a link in another site.
Jenssen, the lift oookkk it was on there when i got it and IS coming off.but it has the autozone style rubber spacers and metal adjustable spacers on the front with blocks out back.the front is scary, the back is ok for now.once the rust starts getting fixed all these lift problem will be addressed and done proper.i plan on running no larger then a 35" tire and about 4.5-5" of lift.it will probably get a dana 44 up front and a 9" out back.once the motor goes it will get a 5.0 302 out of a mustang and a built aod and a atlas t case.

If you want to keep it on the street look for the D44/9" out of an Early Bronco,.. the newer F/S stuff gives you a really wide stance. Now I could break 44 front shafts on command in the rocks with a hopped up 4.0 so the 302 may get you into trouble or maybe I just beat mine waaaay too hard.

:shocker:

well no rocks here in florida...:sad0147:.but we do have some good trails and homemade rock gardens....you use old busted up concrete and roadways, just stack it up put some voids in alittle mud, acouple logs and :driving:.

i do want to find the eb axles but i will do full withs out of a 73-79 f150-f250 also...and with the 250 i get d60 f/r.the 302 is only a maybe right now.it will probably just get a titan stroker motor...4.6(4.0 stroked out).a buddy has on in his tj and good lord is that thing torquie.

Oh that, when you see something that you like, but don't necessarily want to make a full response, just click on it. Then a thanks appears like the one I did for you.
