Hi everybody
OK I am in the middle of changing my transmissionmount. O'reilly gave me a mount that is supposed to be for my jeep year and model and also transmission.... it lloks that it is not the same one that I pulled and so I went to check.... all search I have done so far gives me the same part# they gave me... but it is so different I doubt it.
So who can confirm for me the right type of transmission mount ? and maybe give me a source for it
Cherokee Laredo 89 MANUAL BA10/5 peugeot.
They gave me the part #2625 ANCHOR transmission mount

If I remember correctly, the BA10 did have a different mount.
The best I could come up with in a short amount of time is this:

I would call these folks. They probably have just the tranny mount available. Also call 4 Wheel Parts too.

oh thanks I guess i forgot to update ;)
This is actually the part that fits the BA10/5
I found it at different location including quadratec and teamcherokee and 4WD

it is expensive but since it is an essential part I guess I will bite the bullet ;) not too much choice, the rubber on mine fell apart and 2/4 studs that attach to the cross member are gone...
from my search it is the same part number as the wrangler YJ....
However if I the mount that you show was thin enough to fit I could go cheaper way and get only that... sounds like a good idea ... but is it lol ?

Not really sure the pic was completely accurate. The one showed had no bracket for the exhaust. However if you have a separate piece for that, then go for it.

It probably will. All the rest of the tranny/exhaust mounts are two piece.

I have been told that the later AX15 mount can be altered to fit too. Never done that but it sounds possible.

It is really a matter of redrilling the top plate or adding an adapter plate. Advance Adapters makes a plate to fit the AX15 on the BA10 mount. You can go the other way.

yeah well after searching a solution and because my drilling skills are not that great I went with OEM.
So I ordered it today..... $90 with shipping :sad0147:
But the good news is that I stopped by the dearlership in town and asked them about it... $385 if I wanted it :stars:
So not too bad in the end lol
So for info, this is really the only mount that there is for the BA10/5. No aftermarket possibility without a little modifications.
