WAYNEJAMIN LIGHTLY push from the INSIDE to remove those seals. there is a slot once you take that cone off for you to slide a long screwdriver in and tap out the bad seal... and yes when you tap out the old seal you CANNOT reuse it as you will mangle it

the bit that chipped off still sits nice and snug , cant force it in wards ,so glued it up ,let it firm a bit then put new seal in and let it bond like this ...

Hey Wayne, would it help you out if we found some way to get parts for you here and ship them there? From what you are saying, it might be cheaper for us to get you a complete case for the price of a part.

they have NOOOOO manufacturers there... its sad ... they pay 300 bucks for a basic 33 inch tire and suspension is crazy expensive out there... If I lived there I would be killed by my wife before I could do any modifications on a jeep.... beautiful country but man they dont want it polluted with american parts...

next seal up in tc is now leaking ,, not much but if oil gets out water can get in ... is this a hard fix ... and no Scott i haven't got the hose clip up to tight ...:smiley-laughing021:
might have to post a pic , its the part of the tc were the tag is on , not the part that is held on by three bolts

i think that is only reason why I don't want to swap mine to a 242 transfer case.. there isn't a whole lot of stuff out there for them.. well not as much anyways..
