wow. I had a 1989 nissan pulsar as my first car and I launched it over some railroad tracks. Got about 3 ft of all 4 off the ground and all it did was dent in my oil pan. I was a stupid kid back then, but I can't imagine doing that to a 40+ thousand dollar truck....

Im going to hold off on mounting the inverter till I figure out all of what I would like it to do. I also want to add the 2nd battery before that. I think the compressor will get to live either behind the drivers seat or in the rear by that odd shaped hole.

My experience with doing that stuff to windshields has not been good. Wipers depend on a very thin film of water remaining. When the water beads like that, they don't work as well. However if your wipers are not working, yes it works well

I've tried about every product available for windshields. You drive 500 miles a night this time of year and you'll get tired of wiping bugs. It's something I do every year and have gotten to be pretty proficient.

I'll kick the ass of anyone who puts that RainX crap on my truck. I made that mistake once. I like to be able to see. It leaves a film on the glass that clouds everything at night. Most people won't notice, but most people don't drive more than a half hour every day.

I've found the best thing is the cheapest blue Windex knockoff I can get poured directly into the washer bottle under the hood, along with a healthy squirt of Dawn dish soap. Fill the rest with water or blue washer fluid. I continue to add water and a smaller squirt of Dawn all week, as the bottle needs filled. At the beginning of each week, I start over again.

In addition to that, I keep a spray bottle of Ammonia in the truck. Once or twice a night, I spritz the windshield pretty good and let it sit for about a minute, then use a long handled squeegee I keep to remove the bugs.

It's a pain, but it's the cheapest way I've found to be able to see at night. I run almost 500 miles every night of two lane highway that doesn't have shoulder for 85% of the trip. Lots of bugs, a screwed up windshield, and oncoming headlights is bad when there's inches between you and the grass.

I'm always looking for stuff like what's in the video in hopes it would work, but really I usually respond to it jokingly. If it was out there and would work and NOT cost $30 a night, I'd have already found it. As it is, $5/week for Ammonia, Glass Cleaner, Dawn dish soap, and water seems to be the best thing I've found

I AM seriously considering the Never Wet in the video for my boots, though! That stuff does look awesome, just not for glass.

My brother has a really high performance bass boat that has an engine that "isn't quite stock.":D;) I've confirmed with a GPS that it'll run over 80mph. He claims that it's at it's best when he cleans the hull to perfection and uses Pledge on the hull.

I wonder If I treat my kayak with Never Wet if I'll be able to paddle faster??:p
