having said that I need to explain how I wheel
I would like to be able to leave my tires pressured at around 15 for wheeling and I would also like to be able to use it on the streets OCCASIONALLY like to meet and greets and the unforeseen breakdown of another vehicle.
I like to go rock crawling and I really need the sidewalls to be really strong,
I dont really care about road noise so long as the hum is balanced and not a "womp womp" sound Also I guess weight would be a factor as well...
I know I can google these but I dont know the people on google that well to know how they wheel and what THEY have compared these tires too either
So please give me input
Thanks in advance!

Well tires are a very opinionated subject. From what I saw this summer at NAXJA NWFest I would go with either the KM2's or the Goodyears. Both seemed to do equally well in the rocks and rocky terrain. So being me I would get whatever was cheaper between those two.:D

BUT I can finance these 90 days same as cash..4wheel prts wont... and seeing as how they are pretty much across the street from them I might see if they can match prices... however do look at the MTZ, they offered a great deal on those but the sidewall is not very strong so those are out

$80 more for the same tires is NOT 90 days same as cash. It's 90 days with an $80 finance charge. Plus take $60 off because of the gift card. But the nice thing is you can have the tires RIGHT now, it will just cost you $140 more.

Well, as I have only wheeled with one guy that had the KM2s, I have made an observation about them. They are more flexy than the KM1. At the same pressure I was running the side walls bulge a little more. I have not run the Goodyears or know anyone who has. But for your purposes which seems to include quite a bit of mud, I would go with the KM2s due to tread design. Those Goodyears have the center filled with rubber which will keep that part of the tire useless in mud.

Hmmm I don't think you can go with use anymore then. We didn't know you felt this way. I know I am very hurt and disappointed. :sad0147:

you kinda over looked a tire, firestone destination m/t, that what i run, if your looking for a bullet proof tire well, these are it i do a good amount of all around wheeling from trail riding to moderate rock crawling to some mudding, ive got 55k miles out of mine and still have some tread to go, i air mine down to usually 15-20 psi depends on what im doing, dont take my word on it you can look at all the reviews on tirerack.com theres alot of reviews on there from people that wheel alot to people that use them just for daily driving. and there priced pretty good 194.00 for 33x12.5x15

Buddy of mine has the Maxxis and KM2s, when hes going rock crawling he leaves the km2s at home, first run out on the km2s and he sliced and diced his sidewall, a month later his girlfriend with the 33" km2s, did the exact same thing on a different trail (first time wheeling anywhere near rocks with these tires)
