One of the mods I was going to get around to eventually was to set up a series of switches so that I could manually select the gear in the AW4 transmission.
I just found out about this.

I have built a box to control the shifting manually of the aw4 you can also shift it normally. its in the xj of mine thats for sale. you can even lock in and out the trq converter

I have an early version of the Montana style set up, I rarely use it though.
