As some may remember a couple weeks ago, my 90 Limited suffered a horrible fate (http://www.xjtalk.com/showthread.php?t=4547). But after a couple weeks of waiting on State Farm, I finally got a $1449 check in the mail. Today I picked up my new toy.:driving:
It's another 90 Limited, with 205,000 miles. Same gray leather interior, but a roof console instead of a sunroof which sucks, but no biggie. Fresh paint, only about a month old (No crappy clearcoat!), the black parts are rattle-can wanna be rhino liner, kinda cheap but it looks good and it's still kinda fuctional. The guy I bought it from said it's stock height, and it's running 31x10.50 Les Schwab Wildcat EXT tires, so needless to say there will be a 3-inch lift in my future. Recently had the valve cover gasket, CPS, cap & rotor, plugs & wires, air filter, and fuel pump replaced. Doesn't leak or burn oil, and has the cleanest engine compartment I've ever seen on an XJ that old. The only things that are wrong with it as far as I can tell so far is the windshield is cracked (I've yet to own an XJ without one that's cracked lol), the power lock servos aren't doing so hot, and the driver's seat is a little crooked but still comfortable. Got it for 1500. He tried to get me to pay 1800 after he already told me 15, but I held my ground and he was pretty cool about it. Can't wait to get an xjtalk sticker on this thing! :D
I'll post more pictures once the weather gets better and I can get some better pics.
