Need some help finding a lift kit

Hey guys. I have a '95 XJ that I'm looking to modify. I want a lift kit thats between 3-4" (size I get depends on the price). There's only one problem... my XJ is 2wd and I'm having trouble finding kits for 2wd XJs. It's not going to be going in the mud much, I just want it to be able to get through flooded streets and parking lots (we have LOTS of those here in south Louisiana) without having to worry about too much about it drowning. And lets face it, who wants to drive around a stock Jeep? Haha. If anyone has any good ideas where to find 2wd lifts please let me know and possibly put the price along with it.

Fist off 4x4 lift kits are the same as 2wd lift kits for the xj. you have the exact same set up under yours as a 4x4. 2nd don't buy a "kit" all you need for a 2"-3" kit is 2 cheap coil spacers and 2 shackles or add-a-leaf (look on ebay should be less than $100) those and an alignment and your fine.

If you want 4" lift then you will need 2 wrangler or cherokee 4" lift coil springs (or 2" coils with 2" spacers), you will need 2 4" lift leaf springs (or 2" add-a-leaf and 2" shackle), might need some washers on the trans cross member, and you will need a set of shocks for a 4" lift. All can be pieced together via craigslist, ebay, and other local and texas forums (check lsjc for sale forum often).

so there you go, stock shocks will work for 2" and maybe 3" as you already said its 2wd and your not wheeling it.
