So I had just left my house on Saturday to go meet my buddy to go get a hot dog at Costco. Less than 3 blocks from my place, this happened.

Here's what happened to the moron that pulled out in front of me.

She was cited at the scene for failure to yield right of way, and all the witness statements say it was her fault. Needless to say I'll be getting another XJ, free of charge.

lol.....Thankyou for that..

Sorry it happened, glad you're ok....lower A pillar subframe is pushed back, at first it looked like it was rebuildable for trail duty.....but, not sure what 2 hours on a frame rack is worth over your way......still, might be worth thinking about.

take the check and build a trail rig out of it.

I'm planning on just Salvaging a few things off of it and then I'm selling it to a friend for parts. I'm going to get another XJ with the insurance check. There are a lot of them on craigslist in my area.

Looks like State Farm is calling it totalled, they're going to give me $1445 for it. Not bad since I only had around $400 into it altogether. I think I can probably scrape up another XJ with that much cash. :driving:

Yeah, that is good idea. Buy a "new" XJ and build a nice XJ. Do they give you your old one? If yes, it is a good construction material for trail rig :D

PS: what about hotdog?
