when you start the jeep and try to accelerate it will hesitate, act like it wants to die, and then it will pick up and go. happens all day but only at idle speeds. sometimes it will die but it will start right back up.

I remember one person was having an issue like this and it was the ground between the engine and the firewall. When he torqued the engine the block would move and he'd lose the ground. Worth checking...

Also, check your fuel system and throttle position sensor. The latter would be my first guess.

i checked the the fuel pressure and it was at 39 psi and when i removed the vacuum on the fuel pressure regulator the psi went to 49 psi. The ground strap on the engine block and firewall looks like it is still one piece.
