Bottom of the door plating

I have some diamond plate at my job. Thinking of taking that UGLY molding off the bottom of the doors and putting the diamond plate down there for added protection. What do ya think? Should I weld it or bolt it on?

i have seen that done with just some of that 3M double sticky tape, i think it looks good i would say do it.

What a loss that would be if it didn't hold! If you are lucky you just lose it and don't damage someone's vehicle, or decapitate someone.

well it was not on my jeep so i did not have to worry about it falling off.:smiley-gen165:
but from what i seen of it, they were on for a couple of years with out coming off. :driving:
