yachty1 (dan) cant get to a computer that often .. so will fill you in abit ..
has just brought a 94 xj ( yes its red muddie ).. has to get it re vined , that's new plates .... got it going but now cant get it to shut down :smiley-laughing021:.... plans are to lift it ,bigger shoes etc....just not sure on what path to go down ..... any thoughts as to why it wont shut down ...:thumbsup:

I've never had that problem. If detonation is occuring then I'd say there's a problem with the timing advance. If you turn the key off and it runs like the key is on, then I'd say there is a wiring issue.
