He all,

Somewhere on the forum i have seen an article about the electrical fan wirings, what could manually overrule the thermo switch, by use of an extra switch.

I can not find this tread, i i would like to read it, and see if i can implant it in my rig.
Or if a (re)wiring diagram is available i would appreciate this very much..

what i have done  , out-rules the airco on some strange way.

I'm new to this forum, but have found a write up on cherokeeforum.com. i'm actually going to do this mod very soon. it'll only cost you about $20 if you don't have any of the supplies already.

here's the link:

while you are under the hood and running wires in to the cab and installing a switch, you might want to look at this high idle switch write up. i did mine in about 30 min with stuff i had on hand. works like a champ.

UPDATE.

I did the mod this morning on my '99 XJ and it took me about an hour total. Instead of disconnecting the battery, and pulling the whole fuse box loose as shown in the write up, i cut open the loom that comes out of the bottom of the fuse box at the back and located the blue with pink tracer and got enought out of the loom to work with and made my connections and then tucked everything back into the loom and zip tied it closed. after routing my wires into the cab and hooking up my switch i tested and everything worked as stated in the write up.
