front pump seal

ok so i never heard of a front pump seal im told you have to drop the tranny and ill see it but if i never heard of it how do i know what im looking for if anyone has done it HELP!!!!!!!!! planning on doing it this weekend so all the help the better

Normally they dont go bad.. so why are you replacing it? Also on what trans are you doing this on?

honestly im not sure what trans i have. im replacing it cause its leaking. working on axles now but when i get to do it ill have more info
