Hey thanks for joining. I've been "speaking" with you on Facebook. I posted a link in response to one of your questions about the grill guard.

It is actually a custom winch bumper. So I took off the factory bumper and replaced it with this heavy metal bumper that also has "hoops". Those hoops are what I mounted the lights on. It kind of looks like a grill guard, but when I think of a grill guard I think of something that is fairly light in construction and it bolts on to the factory bumper.

This is a great site to learn about Jeep XJ and off roading. NO QUESTION IS A DUMB ONE, so feel free to ask.

Welcome to the site. I see you are interested in aftermarket bumpers. I built my own, but you may want some ideas.
