1978 Jeep (katy tx)

http://images.craigslist.org/00v0v_cCNXeSeevhs_600x450.jpg

I have a 1978 jeep J10 it's very rare and In good shape it has a new 360 V8 with 12 miles on it only it is a project still but won't take much to make it street legal I have ran out of time and money so it's time to sell it. The transmission goes through all the gears but won't go in 3rd gear don't know what's wrong with it.

This is a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. 4x4. This was bought as a parts jeep for another we had. Decided not to use it and replaced what we had with all new parts. Transmission is good. Engine has knock. Has a tow bar that will be left on it along with a trailer hitch. Carpet was removed and headliner needs to be replaced.

1989 Toyota Hilux pickup
condition: good
cylinders: 4 cylinders
drive: 4wd
fuel: diesel
odometer: 110000
paint color: red
title status: clean
transmission: manual
1989 Toyota Hilux SSR (double-cab) diesel pickup!!

100% Legal and imported with Minnesota Title!!! There are probably only a handful that ever meet US soil. This is an extremely Rare Find!!

2.8L Diesel, 5-spd manual, solid front axle, fully box-welded frame (from the factory) gear-driven t-case, manual locking hubs, AC, power steering & Webasto TSL-17 pre-heater. 110,000 miles

Considered by some to be the best model Hilux produced. This rugged and reliable truck has been my daily driver for years. It is bone-stock and un-molested, which means it's reliability has not been compromised. To ensure that it lasts a good long time a Webasto TSL-17 coolant pre-heater was installed as soon as it arrived from Japan, which means that it has not had to deal with cold winter starts. The pre-heater is fully programmable and pre-heats the engine before starting which greatly reduces wear on the engine.

A lot of maintenance has been done (replaced timing belt, rad hoses, thermostat, alternator, voltage regulator, exhaust, brakes, axle seals, t-case seals, re-packed wheel bearings, converted AC blows cold!!

The truck has been meticulously maintained, is mechanically rock-solid and drives beautifully. It has been driven as it was intended, but it has never been an "off-road rig", so it's never seen a mud hole, and never been abused.

The paint is not perfect, it's got quite a few rock chips, some rust (as expected from a 27yr old truck), and a couple of door dings but the undercarriage and frame are in great shape. Interior is very clean with no rips and was never smoke in.

Don't pass up this rare opportunity to own this unique truck!!

That's awesome... I would have loved to have found either an older diesel Hilux or even a new one... I wish they would have been smart and released the diesel SFA Hilux's in the states... think they would have sold quite nicely

I remember these. Really light and capable off road. However slow on the highway and will be even slower with a diesel

I'm hoping it was super rusty and his plan was to cut out all the cancer and build it back with tubing, but I think he's off his rocker if he thinks he's going to get $1200 for unfinished half an XJ.

would only be of value to someone looking to run 37+ tires. tank relo is pretty time and material intensive, lots of fab work already done (not sure it's done right, but looks ok). wouldn't think of square tubing for the exo but its kinda growing on me. Being a tall feller, the lack of B pillar is pretty cool. I'd move the front seats back at least 4" and drop them an inch or 2. probably just do tube doors and cage to fill the gap there.

obviously its not finished, but that tubing isn't thin walled junk. looks like it could roll off a cliff and not suffer much body damage. lots of money in material alone.

BUT trying to sell a half finished project is a REAL PITA. not everyone has the same concept/rig in mind as this guy.

interesting to say the least!

interestingly, saw a similar build XJ on 33s for 9800.

Yea, its 20 year old rig. there's definitely a ceiling when it comes to prices on stuff like this

It does indeed. Couldn't stomach spending the coin then chancing it on 37s with a built d30.

I thought it was a joke at first. He's talking about 10mb something or other, I think he's about a decade off with that claim.

Would be cool to put Frogger and Oregon Trail on it and setup in the cave. Would be fun to die of dysentery every now and again with friends.
