It's a good series of shows. I was disappointed with the HP that they got out of the stroker via the dyno.

There is talk in a couple other forums that they did the dyno totally wrong.

I sure would hope so thats a butt load of work and VERY little gain... thats why I have NEVER done a header swap...
Also want to know at what point "budget" is a matter of income.... 6200 bucks is more than I have spent on my jeep with the same setup minus the 8.8 upgrade
PLUS I also have 1k invested in the jeep itself

You basically have a header on the XJ. Its not like the wranglers or most vehicles' exhaust manifolds. What you do gain is strength and knowing that yours will crack, and with an aftermarket one, hopefully it wont. Probably depends on who's you get.

Dang I thought you knew... mines cracked RIGHT at the collector SO close that I can't get anything wrapped around it or even drop some epoxy on it... its a lost cause for mine.

This is awesome. About a week ago I search online for about an hour and a half trying to find these videos. I haven't watched them yet, but I will tonight can't wait.

I just cant believe the Low HP they were getting before the Stroker Upgrade?!?!?! and pretty low mileage for that XJ also. My 2001 is getting close to the 200.000 mile club and still lays rubber when i drop the Hammer!

Could that 4.0 have had the Hell beat out of it?
Never changed the Oil?
Come on 40-50 HP??? I dont get it!

i record the power block every weekend.

I do to, but I have it set to record NEW episodes only. There has been nothing new for a few weeks, well one here and there.

I saw this and was hoping it was a special on my Xj lol

*Edit*

Thank you for posting this, as i just burned up most of my work day watching the whole thing.

Though I dont get how this is a "cheep build" when they dropped $6k on it, and THEN rebuilt the engine, added long arms, etc.... If an $8,000+ Jeep build is cheap, i may as well just sell mine lol.
