Greetings fellow xj owners,I noticed there are a few fellow texans on here.I live in dallas I noticed you were in conroe hows the wheelin down there ain't to swuft up here unless I drive a couple hrs. south north or west oh and 3 hrs east!!!!

We have a place in Splendora. I and a couple of other members went there this past Saturday. First time for me to that park. It was an hour and 15 minute drive for me though.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I hear ya about the sweatin part I worked in orlando at disney and man I was soaked walking from the car to the time clock of course that was about a half mile hike.

Thanks man,so how do you like your vortec convert I bet you have some serious torque now those V6s run great in trucks! I am going to build either a stroker or do a coversion similar to yours I am just checking with my many wrecking yard buddies before I decide.

I do like the Vortec. It is very fast off the line for what it is. It is a good engine for the XJ. Not done with it yet though. When I can afford it, it will get the typical Chevy treatment with a cam and head work and go to 290 hp

Lotta cash for 20 hp. unless you go with the edelbrock set up don't know if they offer one for the V6 though.
