Wow that was quick! I was just replying to your reply and you've joined, requested a xjtalk sticker, AND donated some money! Thank you and as I remind everyone here donations are NOT a requirement but very much appreciated!

Thanks for giving xjtalk a test drive. :patriot:

Thanks for the invite this seems like a friendly and fun place to hang.

A little about me... I am 29 years old and live in Hayesville NC with my wife and 2 year old son.
I have worked in fabrication ever sine I was 15 and with 4wd vehicles for about 8 years.
2 years ago I started Ironman fabrication and four wheel drive in the garage of my house In concord NC. We quickly outgrew the garage and moved to a small town in the mountains to a larger facility with offices and a lot more space.
This is still a family business with my father running the site and one of my best friend doing graphic work from time to time in trade for parts. I love to build stuff for jeeps and cool products that work well and don't break.
feel free to check us out at www.ironman4x4fab.com
pm or Email me at [email protected]
You can also call my cell at 704 796 3502. I have already made friends with some folks I was happy to see are members here. Its not unusual to get a call at 2 am from a forum buddy with a question about a rod end part number or what lengths his controls arms he bought from a different company than myself. I am always happy to help.
I learned something very important from tom woods drive shafts.
When you call Tom woods... Tom answers the phone.
Ill always do the same. Thanks for letting me jump on board and happy wheeling!

When I started Ironman I needed some capital so I sold my 95 2 door Xj for some $
These are a few pics of it

I currently have a 90 2 door split window xj on about 6" with 33s but i will probably sell it for more equipment though.

Wow what a beauty. It had to be hard to let go, but I'm sure you also looked forward to building another one. :patriot:

I am holding out for a 98 5.9 limited ZJ. I had one a few years ago with about 300 hp. That is my dream family 4 wheeler. That will be fun.

lol no offense, each to their own of course, but I'll tell you before someone else does. I'm not a fan of the Grand Cherokees.

heh, I know, I know, but do you have any Idea how hard it is to get that 5.9 into an XJ. If they had put them in the Cherokee this would not be an issue.... I had one for 2 years and fell in love with the realistic power and torque the high comp. engine put out. That is the only reason. oh ... and the cushy heated seats... lol

No if I didn't have self control you would have sold me at the 300 HP! I love hp and torque. The Cherokee is almost too curvy to me a Jeep, so the Grand...

Seriously though it is just a personal choice, and fun to give you Grand lovers a hard time.

Andy

If you have pics of the work in progress, we have a fabrication section for that. But if it is just that really cool finished product, well right here is good. Or you can start a new thread for Jeeps of the past or something.

Wow Andy, lots of cool custom fab on that rig. But I guess that is why they call you Iron Man. If I ever roll mine, I will start doing what you did.
