Yup, stock everything including stock wheels, but with 31s which are considered the limit for the turdy five. 4.10 gears though, but they came with the Jeep. I have to watch what I do with the Atlas tcase though. With 10.38 ratio thats about 500 hp at idle on the rear end.

yep i try to be careful with the 33s.... stock gears.. worry about it if it breaks......haven't had problems yet , have been known to give it the right boot ...are they really bad as everyone seems to say...

As long as you are strictly in the mud, I wouldn't worry. It is when you give it the boot and the tires catch on something like rocks that the problems occur, or with that combo and lockers.

so if ya were to snap a axle the wheel could would fall off .........

That would happen with any semi float axle shaft. Full float, such as on a D60 or a conversion kit is the only way to get away from that. But heavier axle shafts such as in the D44 or Ford 8.8 and Toyota offer enough strength to get away from too much breakage. The best thing to do is if you are converting axels is to go to a non C clip set up and eliminate a weak point.
