Hello and thanks. I am on my forth Xj. It's a 99 white sport with six cylinders, np231, aw4,chrysler 8.25, dana 30 and 355:1. I am in process of installing lift, aluminum rad with electric fans, new water pump, steering including box, pump, tie rods ends and longer drop pitman arm, tranny cooler,Rusty's 4,5 lift with all the extra's, new complete brakes and right now rear main seal and pan gasket and that's how I found this site. I was looking for info on another site when I found a link to XJT. Thought I'd give a shout out to ya all before I look for the link that led me to XJT.

Welcome, and thanks for letting us know how you found us. I love my 98, but from what I've read the 99 has it all. Love to see some pictures if/when you get a chance. :camera:

Thanks for all the welcomes and fine how do you do's. I will try to post some pictures soon. I changed out the bushings on the front axle and for any one trying it the one in the sheet metal braket is a pain. Mine was rusted in and the way I gotter out was to put a socket in between the two surfaces and with a chisel I got under the lip then took a hard core demo nail puller (Gorilla bar) and the socket at the pry point and popped it out. Then I used a 3/8 x 6 all thread bolt and a 1 1/2 socket and 3/4 washer ( on non flanged side) plus 3/8 fender washers and cut washers then nut to presser back in. What a pain in the arss that was for one stinkin part. how ever the bushing above the pumpkin is a piece a cake. I glad that whole horrordeal is behind me!
