Hi to All XJ lovers ;-)
Im new to this site, I own a 95 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0l HO. Im not sure if its a Limited or not as it has both Limited, and SE stickers on. She has done 270 000km, and from what I can tell she has a 1" lift on it (AAL plus a 1" shackle, no coil spacers, so im guessing different coils).
parts are extremely rare here is south Africa, and when you do find them, you can sure you are going to have to pay for them :)
I have done a few engine/fuel mods and get around 9.8km/l from her, my plan is to raise her by another 3" (yes.....size does matter :rotfl2: ) I cant pay the amount asked for a 4.5" lift here (R11500.00 - R16500.00) so ive built my own rear shackles and coil spacers, I hope to get those in soon.
Hope to have her looking like a real jeep :)

Glad you are here. I would suggest that you start a thread on your XJ and ask for advice on how to go about lifting more. We can help you there.

You can build leaf springs from just about any truck who has the spring designed UNDER the axle... just build them with your main leaf that bolts to your shackles and you should net about 4.5 inches of lift... with the FRONTS you can just add those little factory rubber things (spring isolaters) that are on top of your coils just stack like 5 or so on there and you can gain lift by doing that as well... CHEAP lift then all you need is shocks...and perhaps control arms

Im not sure what the metric conversion is as far as inches to CM but it sounds like you have the conversion down already
