i found for sale a D30 out of an 05 TJ for sale. Axle is complete ready to bolt in with 4.88 gears and a lock right locker. Also includes Power slot rotors. Gears and locker less than 2 years. Axle has about 37,000 miles on it. It's in excellent shape, but it is a LP not a HP , so what do ya think ? would there be any reason why that would not be a bolt on ?

As far as I know, it should bolt in. At higher lifts though you may get a problem with castor angle vs pinion angle.

You might want to reconsider if you are planning on sticking it in your jeep. With 6.5" lift, you will hate the low pinion 30. I got rid of mine for a HP 30 at 4.5" so I could run the correct caster angle. With the low pinion it was impossible to get the caster right without vibes from the pinion.

The parts installed on the axle are well worth over $500 so it's a good deal regardless of the low pinion setup.

$500 is a bit much IMO for a LP D30 even with what it has done.
