I was online checking my bank account, when I noticed a charge to my debit card for a transaction I knew nothing about, it showed up looking like this

D/C SET 19:26 04/28/10 2984958 (14.95)
MS ONE TIME
888-245-1922 FL
Card # ******

After seeing this I plugged the 888 number into bing and found a website where others have had the same trouble. I have no idea how this person or people got ahold of my debit card number, but I wanted to warn everyone to watch you bank statement carefully!! I am going to head down to my bank first thing monday morning to cancel my debit card and have a new one issued.

I did however find out that the 888 number is connected to some international bridal website that I have never heard of or even visited before.

Boy i'm glad you spotted that Melissa... It can happen with cell phone's too.. Last month my wife found that At&t were charging us over $80.00 for ring tone's and game's we knew nothing about. We got in touch with the phone company and were given a refund immediately..
